A little about me
👋 Hi, I’m Raph. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, I spent 20 years in Massachusetts before moving to sunny Orlando, Florida. I’ve been fascinated by technology for as long as I can remember.
I started working when I was 14 and joined EMC at 17. At 21, I packed my bags and moved to the United States. Looking back, I probably had more ambition than a concrete plan, but things worked out pretty well.
Most of my career has been spent in enterprise technology, working with companies at different stages of growth. I've built teams, developed technical and go-to-market programs, and helped organizations figure out how to turn sophisticated products into something customers can actually understand and use.
Over time, I've become increasingly interested in what happens between building great technology and getting people to adopt it. That's where a lot of the interesting problems live, and where I've spent much of my professional life.
More recently, AI has pulled me deeper into building products myself. I've always enjoyed tinkering with technology, but the ability to take an idea and turn it into working software has opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Some of those experiments have become actual products, like Bloccy and Fluxxo.
I've also started advising companies and angel investing, which gives me another way to work with ambitious people and interesting ideas. I particularly enjoy getting involved beyond the strategy conversations and helping make things happen.
Outside of work, I'm a husband, a dad, a Formula 1 fan, a Ducati enthusiast, and someone who occasionally convinces himself he'll find more time for woodworking.
I still approach technology with much of the same curiosity I had as a teenager. The tools have changed quite a bit. The fun of figuring things out hasn't.
